Niagara Wedding Love Story: Mary & Nolan
When I first walked the venue of Mary and Nolan’s wedding with them, I already knew it was going to be one of my favourites of 2019. The boho vibe they were going for, the relaxed feel of the day, the play of colours and details had my heart swooning just visualizing it. The day of did not disappoint (except for the down pour of rain, but that didn’t stop anyone from having the best time).
Mary and Nolan chose a lovely AirBnB in Fenwick called Pine Creek Acres- a large house with a breath-taking farm and view of the Welland River. Using the river as their backdrop for the ceremony, everything else fell into place perfectly, allowing the tent and surrounding areas to be close enough but still spacious.
The circle ceremony arch, provided by Pine Creek Acres, was taken one step further with the addition of two simple green garlands. The ceremony was performed by Mary’s sister and felt just perfect for the two of them.
The bridal party flowers were a mix of yellow and pinks, constructed beautifully by Goodman’s Florist. The ladies looked their absolute best thanks to Top Knot Beauty.
The tables in the hexagon tent from Robson Tents, were set with a mix match of plates and salt & pepper shakers, hand selected by her mom. Each added personality to the tables, which were complimented with basic white linens, burlap and twine details. The simplicity was what made the day so perfect. Details well thought out but not too much to overwhelm.
Guests enjoyed a warm BBQ dinner by RedLine BBQ Catering and boy they did not disappoint. Dessert was a fun mix, with Hometown Ice Cream serving from their trailer. Guests loved this twist on cake and lined up to try all the flavours.
Guests partied all night to the sound of DJ Garrett, Nolan’s cousin. He kept the dance floor packed all night, despite the mud that was spreading faster thanks to the rain. Guests were shuttled back to their hotels courtesy of DanNel Transportation, ensuring everyone arrived safe and sound.
The day was so perfectly captured by the outstanding team of Joee and Tyler Photography.
