Planning a wedding during COVID was not easy for anyone and Amanda & Scott were no different. But that did not stop their bright faces or laughter along the way.

Guest experience is something every bride and groom should consider for their wedding. We've all been to that wedding where you have 4 hours to kill between the ceremony and reception. It drags, we don't know what to do or where to go, and by the time you get to the reception you are ready for a nap.

There is something so special about a lowkey, backyard wedding. Christina & Corey’s day was the perfect example of this. From the moment you meet them, you notice how chill they are. They are fun and care so deeply for their friends and family. Their wedding reflected that.

I think I write about this at least once a year, but I feel really strongly about it. For the obvious reasons but also because it's so important when you are not an event planner by trade. There is so much a wedding planner can do for you, besides just setting up your wedding.

As Jessica & Ted’s day approached, they were so cool and calm. They didn’t let COVID get them down (or at least not too much) and thankfully with the restrictions at the time, a party was bound to happen, regardless of what the guest count was allowed to be.

There is so much going on the week of your wedding that it is easy to forget some pretty important things for the actual morning of your big day.

When you first meet Sam, you instantly fall in love. I am assuming this happened to Scott, because it sure did happen to me. From our very first conversation I was so excited about their wedding day.

2020 was the year of the pivot. I started my short wedding season with pop up weddings. It was such a great way for those couples to go through with their weddings safely, following the COVID restrictions at the time.

Microweddings can be fun and full of life, even if your guest count has to be cut. Believe me. Pete and Megan’s microwedding was filled with laughter, tears and overall happiness.
