Microweddings can be fun and full of life, even if your guest count has to be cut. Believe me. Pete and Megan’s microwedding was filled with laughter, tears and overall happiness. It was one of the most fun and personalized weddings I have had the privileges’ of working. While they had to make sacrifices to their original wedding plans, they made the best of the situation by moving forward with exactly what they wanted.
The day started with the ladies were made even more beautiful by The Bridal Glam. They moved their venue to The Hare Wine Co. With the help of Dequor & Co and Luv with Flowers, the beauty of the Courtyard was elevated. Guests enjoyed a late ceremony, lead by Cathy Davis from Cathy Davis and Company.
Instead of having a sit down dinner, they brought in the Food Dudes food truck to serve up some delicious snacks for their guests. Mersey Cross served up drinks throughout the evening, including a specialty drink in honour of Megan’s grandma. Loverly Weddings captured the entire day perfectly, matching the fun of the day with her high energy.
Following speeches and the first dance, everyone enjoyed a few drinks and snacks and the event was wrapped up around 8pm. After all the COVID had done last year (and continues to do), Pete and Megan’s day was the perfect microwedding, reflecting exactly who they are and what they really wanted. I was so honoured to be a part of their day.
