Wedding Show & October Goals

So I can’t believe I am already writing about October. September was amazing and we are hoping the momentum of this month keeps going. We did complete our first wedding show last weekend. And all I can say is that I’m really excited to see what will come from it. We talked to so many amazing brides (and grooms) and hope that we touched a few of them and really portrayed how important a wedding planner is to a wedding, whether full planning or month of coordination. Our booth partner, Honor Beauty, was super, not only as a friend but mentor, preparing us for how to approach the people passing us by and making sure we all had a lot of fun all day long. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start marketing ourselves.

As for October, here are the goals I am hoping to accomplish this month:

  • Meet with at least 1 new vendor a week to introduce us to the Niagara Region and begin building relationships.
  • Make a more cohesive brand through all our outlets.
  • Expand our social media presence with building our Twitter and Instagram accounts (be patient, this will take me a few weeks to get a good posting schedule going).
  • A style shoot is in the works, so I am hoping by end of October that everything is put into motion and we have a shoot date set and working towards it.

On a personal note, I am hosting my first Thanksgiving dinner and am excited to decorate and prepare the menu. I can’t wait to take over a tradition that my mom has run for so long. It’s going to be a tight fit in my small house, but it will be full of laughs, great company and delicious food (I hope).

Thanks!
